by Scott & Drumm Construction and Consulting
(New York)

We are looking for someone to disassemble and take-away our circa mid 1800's Dutch Barn located 5 miles outside of historic Cooperstown, NY.

SIZE
This is a large barn measuring approximately 80x40x36 with a bonus addition measuring 40x20 and attached to the back.

TIMBERS
The timbers are a mix of rough sawn and hand hewn while the various species are predominantly old growth Hemlock along with assorted hardwoods and softwoods throughout. The main posts are 10"x10" in pristine conditioning towering some 35'+ tall with many floor joists and supports measuring 8"x8" as well as 6"x6".

SIDING
Siding consists of 8"x1" cove showing a beautiful black/gray/natural patina.

ROOF
Roof condition is approximately 80% covered and consists of asphalt shingles over 8"-10" plank boards.

DOORS
There are three sets of stately double doors measuring 12'x13'.

This is a barn that could be disassembled and reconfigured for a spectacular smaller home, garage/barn, business, or parts for other projects. Assistance can be provided with final clean-up efforts. We are asking $15,000 or best offer.

Please call or write for additional details. Many additional photos available upon request.
