1888 weathered gray oak 40×40 with tin roof Bloomfield, IN 47424
by Kyle Boyd
This is a nice 1888 40×40 barn with a tin roof and rough sewn beams. The beams are put together with wood pegs and are 6×6 beams. I had a contractor come out and look at the barn from Chicago he said roughly 4000 to 5000 board feet but was to far for him to travel. It does have three lofts and a grain room. Some of the loft boards measure 17 inches wide and some around 12 inches. The siding is weathered gray no paint at all with most around 8 inches wide. There are strips of wood overlapping the side boards with most around 2 or 3 inches wide. I am looking for total take down leaving the concrete they added in the middle. Please contact Kyle 812-454-2672 with any questions. Thanks for looking and I am asking $4000 based on expert opinion . Please leave a message and I will return your call. Serious inquiries only
