Prater barn NEW
by: Anonymous

Our payment for taking what was left of the 2 structures, and saving the other from colapse, was the few good beams, I do agree that the wooden ladders were not part of the agreement, they are here in my barn, and can be returned. The remaining material as is our standard (but not always ) policy, is left for burning or composting by the owner, I do not apply for burn permits. We barley broke even on this removal project, it was done more out of a courtesy, and from a cry for help, as a long time aquantence. -Mike W

Barn for reclamation NEW
by: Jeff

I personally own a large wooden barn that was built somewhere in the mid 1860’s (from what we have been told). I would love to see the wood, or portions of the wood, be brought back to life in new projects as opposed to being destroyed and never seen again. We are located in north central Indiana. It measure approximately 58 feet x 30 feet and is two story with a hay loft on either side. If you would be interested and would like more information, please feel free to contact me with any inquiries.

Lied to, stolen from NEW
by: Jaime Praeter

I've known Mike since the late 90's and hired him to dismantle a portion of my barn and save the remainder. He was given all of the timbers and barn siding of my 200+ year old barn that he wanted, and his men even took items (antique barn ladders and who knows what else) without permission. He left with the timbers and never came back, in March 2014. He has continued to promise me after multiple texts but to no avail. Now I am stuck with a barn that is rapidly deteriorating barn, a massive pile of left over barn wood, metal, nails, etc., and no money for the timbers he essentially stole.
